Obviously, the multi-dimension concept means that missions can vary dramatically in style and locale. That’s a plus because, beat-for-beat, the missions in Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 play just like every other Lego Marvel game ever.
- CGM
It has multiversal framework allows for some deep cuts from the source material, with characters such as Captain Avalon (Captain America by way of Camelot, who's appeared in three issues, ever) or Gwenpool (a teenager named Gwen Poole from 'our' world who knows she's in a fictional world and dresses like Deadpool) playing roles in the game.

Plenty of Marvel heroes to play with and improved character creator.

Chronopolis itself is probably the biggest highlight. Rather than focus on one familiar location, such as New York City, the campaign’s time-traveling setup gave the team an excuse to create what’s essentially a massive theme park.

LMSH2 brings a few new updates to the table -- namely, an overhauled character customizer that allows you to pick and choose essentially every part of the minifig and also the abilities it can use (provided you unlock each of the customizations available during gameplay).

Huge cast of characters to choose from.

The world map features new icons, filling in with check marks as goals are completed. And since Chronopolis is such a huge place, players can fast travel between districts in a flash.

EGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is out on all current consoles. The huge advantage in picking this up on Nintendo Switch is the ability to play both at home or on the go. I spent most of my time playing docked with a Pro Controller. The game looks and responds just like you would expect it too.

Dashing, flying and swinging around this condensed hub world is one of the main joys in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. You can dart from the Sanctum Sanctorum to K’un-Lun in less than a couple of minutes, and it somehow makes perfect sense. Because comic books.

If there’s one thing you can’t knock Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 for, it doesn’t lack content. After I finished the main story and did a good handful of open-world missions, the pause screen informed me I was only at about 30 percent completion. The game boasts hundreds of playable characters, dozens of unlockable ‘cheats’ buyable from Gwenpool (Gwen Stacy, but in a universe where she became Deadpool) at the Avengers Mansion and a plethora of open-world missions.

What has changed is the option to create your own custom hero from scratch. Instead of playing as one of the preset heroes, you can make one with the abilities, appearance, and other aspects of your choosing. The customization options are based on what you’ve unlocked already throughout the game, but you don’t have to make an entirely new hero.

Multiplayer is one of the real strong points of LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2. From the beginning of the game, a second player is able to hop into the action by pressing start. From here you and your friend are able to take over each of the different playable characters and work towards a common goal.

Exploring Chronopolis just isn’t fun. On top of that, finding these regions can be a pain in the ass as they don’t show up on the mini-map. If you want to get to a particular area, you’ll have to manually mark it on the main map and then head over to the landmark that appears in-game.
- Game Axis
Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 has a lot to like, but unfortunately the whole package is marred by a shocking lack of polish. I’ve come to expect a few bugs scattered throughout a Lego game at this point, but it’s never been anything like this. Without hyperbole, every session I’ve had with the game has ended not because I was ready to take a break, but because another game-ending glitch popped up.

It can be a little awkward to swap to the character that you want. You're quite likely at some point to swap between two characters a few times before finally moving over to the one you really want, plus you've got more than one button that can initiate a swap. This isn't exactly a new problem, but it can be an annoyance while you're swapping between characters and the one you've lost control of happens to have wandered off the objective in the meantime.
- Game Skinny
It is the same old Lego gameplay.

There are many times, during a mission, that the camera pull out and with so much going on it’s hard to even find your character. There is also slight framerate dips in handheld, more so than when playing docked. It’s not unplayable by any stretch

It’s a shame that the underlying mechanics remain so defiantly clunky, while the controls seem a little haphazard in places. Multiplayer is curiously inessential, too.

The most disappointing thing about Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is that it’s still ultimately a Lego game. Well-written dialogue and hard-earned character growth are undercut by every single mission sticking to the established Lego game formula.

The voice acting, jokes, and dialogue in general, however, are pretty mediocre. While there are some good performances (Kang in particular) most of the heroes are forgettably voiced - Star-Lord and Spider-Man will induce plenty of groans with their endless bad quips, and we're not even sure whether they're tongue-in-cheek or not.
- Push Square
November 14, 2017 | Full review
The only concern here is, like other Lego games and the previous Marvel title as well, the game can be quite simplistic and repetitive. You'll be completing essentially the same objectives over and over in different forms, but luckily there's excellent writing and the trademark Marvel humor you've come to love and expect.

An Overview On Nintendo Switch Games

With video gaming constantly evolving, it is dizzying to keep up with the latest number one games. There are countless platforms to play games on, and recently, the Nintendo Switch has become quite high on the popularity list. With a soar in popularity, there have been a myriad of games released to appease the gaming community. With over 2,000 games offered for the Nintendo Switch, find out which games are at the top and surprise your gamer with a few of the best Nintendo Switch Games this year.

The Nintendo Switch is a gaming console composed of a console and a handheld device. The awesome thing about the Switch is the portability of it. There are no wires attaching the handheld device to the console. This allows you to game from many different places and, positions around your home, depending on the range. In addition, it is extremely easy to take on-the-go with you to play with pals.

Of course, this gaming console is not for everyone and has its pros and cons. There are so many personal preferences for those who game and buy gaming consoles that it is important to know what the Nintendo Switch offers for consumers.

For those who enjoy the first-party games that Nintendo has created, the Nintendo Switch is the console for you. This includes “Super Mario Odyssey”, a great game that all ages can enjoy. In addition, “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild” is also one of the best Nintendo Switch first-party games that users will love.

If you are the type who is always on the go, then the Switch is definitely for you. With a super portable handset that features a built-in screen and attachable Joy-Con controllers, you can take this from living room to vacation in a snap. This is a huge advantage over other gaming consoles of its class.

The Nintendo Switch is also known to be a favorite of indie game players. Coined as “Nindies” by Nintendo, there are countless options for indie game lovers. A few of the Indie games that are most popular with Switch users include: “Stardew Valley,” “Axiom Verge” and “Shovel Knight.”

Perhaps the biggest pro to the Nintendo Switch is the charging cable. It is a super common, USB Type-C that you can find almost anywhere and easily replace for not a lot of money. In addition, it works with Type-C power banks to give it a longer life to use on-the-go.

Now that you’ve heard the pros, let’s talk about the cons of the Nintendo Switch. There are always a few elementary features in the first release of a new product, and that’s what you’ll find with the Switch.

First, the graphics are not the best of the best. Though it features 720p resolution, you won’t have high definition in some of the games. When compared to its competitors that are less mobile and more stationary, this is one of the features that knocks it down a bit.

Depending on what you are playing, the Switch can have a shorter battery life. It is advertised that the battery lasts anywhere from 2.5 hours to 6 hours. This isn’t ideal, especially when you are traveling or playing a long game.

An additional negative to the system is the expensive accessory costs. The controllers are slightly more than their competitors, and if you want a charging grip for the Joy-Con, you’ll pay extra for that too. This is a huge con to the system.

Finally, if you are a multiplayer game-lover, the Switch is a bit behind. Their chat feature costs you an annual subscription fee to their online service but even that seems to be a bit slow. This is tough for multiplayer enthusiasts.

That sums up the pros and cons for the Nintendo Switch, but let’s take a look at a couple more of the best games for the Switch that game-lovers are going crazy over. “The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” is an upgraded version of one of the classics. This game has endless intrigue and impressive graphics for users to enjoy. Next, you should really take a look at “Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy-Nintendo Switch Standard Edition.” This game features a fan favorite, Crash Bandicoot, and he sure does have all the moves. Players of all ages will find this game fun and exciting. There are hours of fun to be had with these Nintendo Switch Games.

DWYM Fun Fact

There are several neat things to know about your Nintendo Switch. First, it has an excellent defense against piracy. The system has a series of notifications during the login process that can help it detect piracy and stop it. This is great news for those who play by the rules and pay for their games.

The console also supports games from other systems, such as N64 and GameCube, for a more diverse selection. The Switch logs your gaming time, so you can cut back or increase your gaming time depending on habits, time and performance within the games.

One final fun fact: More copies of “The Legend of Zelda” have been sold by Nintendo than actual Switches themselves.
