The Sleep Master features a unique design which fuses the strap component and the main mask section giving a bigger mask padded with Satin. The mask wraps around your head which aids it in muffling some sound.

- Wise Bread

- How Sleep Works
It has a Velcro strap for the perfect adjustment and is thick enough to fit securely on your head. The adjustable Velcro strap of this lightweight sleep mask helps in easy and secure fastening. This ensures easy handling.
- Top 7 Reviews
Once on, the mask is surprisingly comfortable. There’s no pocket to create space over your eyes, so the mask is right up against your lids.
- Sleepopolis
Many users enjoy using this mask because of its size. While other masks are smaller, the size of this mask has had many calling it the best they have used as it has blocked out a large surface area. And with the blockage of a large surface area comes the blockage of any light that may be able to get in.
- Earplugs Guide
The Sleep Master Sleep Mask weighs in at just over two ounces, making it ideal to stow in a carry-on bag for long-distance flights or when staying at a hotel. And its sturdy construction and quality materials will keep the mask functioning and looking good for years to come.
- Sleepy Bliss
It is unique larger than usual design covers the ears as well for sound muffling. The broader straps do not fray or wear out after a few washes.
- Voonky
One standout feature that sets this mask apart from the competition is the fact that is covers your ears as well as your eyes. Most sleep masks you find today will only cover your eyes and that normally means that you would also have to purchase ear plugs if you want to block out any unwanted noise. Ear plugs always seem to be falling out when you are trying to sleep and this can be very annoying, so I just love that this mask will help to reduce noise without the use of ear plugs.
- Relaxation Masks
Thanks to the durable Velcro strips on the straps, this mask easily connects at the back, giving you the perfect fit. Durable, flexible and extremely soft, unlike most sleep masks, this one goes around your head with ease offering you optimum comfort and relaxation. With no latex and hypoallergenic elements to speak of, this sleep mask can be easily washed and dried for optimal hygiene.
- Brooke Roberts
It comfortably surrounds your head with a soft and cool breathable fabric, a synthetic outer shell and a cotton interior. Developed by someone who suffered from insomnia, it completely covers the eyes no matter the head shape and size, and muffles the ears. But it still is lightweight and breathable.
- Recreation Space
My first impression of the Sleep Master was how soft it was. It felt silky, I could easily imagine being able to sleep with it on my face from the first touch. I was in love with the feel and the look (I really love the colour).
- Natpacker
The light was 100% blocked out and the sound was indeed muffled as the thick mask covered my ears, too.
- The Points Guy
What experts didn't like
Expensive and the design is somewhat bulky.
- BestReviews
But its luxurious exterior trapped more heat than any other mask, and several testers were so put off by its blindfold-like appearance that they refused to wear it for more than a few seconds.
- New York Times Wirecutter
Some testers also reported an uncomfortable pressing feeling on their eyelids.
- Your Best Digs
The “noise-cancelling” feature may not be functional.
- Sleeping Culture
It is a bit more expensive.
- All Top 10 Best
Doesn't muffle sound like it states.
- Land Of The Traveler
A light entering gap around the nose area.
- Best Advisor
Reviewers did notice that the mask can stain pillowcases if you don’t wash it before use.
- Wise Bread
A slight drawback of this mask as reported by customers is that it may restrict your eye movement.
- How Sleep Works
This sleep mask is a bit pricy.
- Top 7 Reviews
Getting the Sleep Master on isn’t easy. Because it’s all one piece, there’s no stretch to the strap as you try to adjust the mask on your head, and the added width of the strap made it harder for me to hold the bottom part in place while I brought the top over and tried to line everything up so the velcro caught the way it was supposed to. It was difficult to make minor adjustments from there, so it was difficult to get the mask tight enough without multiple attempts.
- Sleepopolis
The cost and size are a bit higher than others.
- Earplugs Guide
Satin material may cause mask to slip off while sleeping
- Sleepy Bliss
It might become a bit uncomfortable in hot bedrooms.
- Voonky
It's a bit expensive.
- Recreation Space
With the Sleep Master I also received a pair of ear plugs. These felt soft, however I found that they didn’t sit in my ears very well. But I’ve never really had a good relationship with earplugs!
- Natpacker
Don’t use if you’re claustrophobic, as the mask covers and presses your ears and the top half of your face.

The ear area is padded for sound muffling. It stretches or constricts for the fit you desire. SLEEP MASTER is a simple, all-in-one, one-size-fits-all product, which ELIMINATES LIGHT and REDUCES SOUND, giving you a deep, refreshing sleep by shutting out the world in an immediate, intimate way. ~~Normal use MUFFLES SOUND significantly, providing a sense of separation from ambient activity and noise, but not complete isolation. An Overview On Sleeping Masks

Nothing can feel more luxurious than a midday nap. But unless you have a windowless bedroom or room-darkening shades, it can be hard to shut out the light so that you can get some sleep. This is especially problematic for night-shift workers who have no choice but to get those eight hours when the sun is at its brightest.

Simplemost Media

A good sleeping mask could be the cure to that problem. Finding the right sleep mask can be tough, though, since many seem to promise efficiency and comfort, only to fall through when you actually try them. You’ll want to prioritize a mask that’s comfortable while also blocking out as much light as possible. Combining those things is all in the material and design of the mask itself.

As you’re shopping, you’ll probably notice the masks that most effectively block out light cover a large surface area of the face. But when you’re covering your eyes, cheeks, and part of your nose, the last thing you want is a material that blocks air from circulating, leading to heat buildup during the hours you’re sleeping. Silk is one of the best materials for achieving that goal, keeping you cool while also providing the thickness you need to keep light out.

Simplemost Media

Another great thing about silk is that it’s soft against your skin. The best silk sleeping masks are padded, as well, for that extra cushioning you need as it conforms to your face. Look for 100% natural silk as opposed to silk blends that can reduce the benefits you get from the material.

Sleeping mask manufacturers will advertise all types of benefits from their products, so use your own discretion. Some say they help with migraines and headaches, but to get this benefit, many consumers recommend putting it in the refrigerator or freezer to cool it down before applying it. Perhaps the most accurate promise is that it will help with insomnia, but only if your sleep disruption is caused by too much light in your room.

DWYM Fun Fact

Napping can be a great way to get an extra energy boost during the day. If you’re napping because you can’t sleep at night, though, you may be better off skipping it. Studies have shown that insomniacs can actually harm their nighttime sleep cycles through daytime napping. Non-insomniacs should keep those daytime naps to less than half an hour if they want a burst of energy without waking up feeling sluggish and tired. Beyond that, you’ll risk falling into a deeper sleep that will have you waking up feeling worse than you felt before you dozed off. However, a 90-minute nap can give your body that full sleep cycle that will help you make up for a sleep deficit.

The Sleeping Mask Buying Guide

  • The first question you’ll probably ask when shopping for a sleep mask is whether it actually does what it says. Look for a mask that covers the nose and eye area generously, keeping in mind that light often slips through near the bridge of the nose with sleep masks. Some masks also extend around your ears to slightly muffle sound.
  • Comfort can be tough with something like a sleep mask since not all heads are the same size. Many sleep masks have an adjustable band to allow you to find the right size, but those with extra-large heads may find it tough to get the light blocking and comfort they need.
  • The material of the sleeping mask plays a direct role in how comfortable it is. The most comfortable masks are made from silk. For best results, look for a mask with a 100% silk design.
  • As comfortable as silk is, though, it can tend to slip around while sleeping. Make sure you choose one with a comfortable, adjustable band that will hold it in place.
  • Although many sleep masks use elastic bands to allow you to adjust them, some are made with Velcro. Keep in mind that unless built correctly, both types of bands can get tangled in your hair, bringing unwelcome pain in the middle of your nap.
  • Your sleep mask will need to be washed occasionally to keep it clean and reduce allergens. Many sleep masks are hand-wash only, especially those with padding. Even if you buy one that advertises it can be laundered, hang it to dry and wash it in a lingerie bag to maintain the material’s integrity.
  • While you’re waiting for your sleep mask to dry, you won’t have it to use. For that reason, you may want to consider buying two of them to swap out.
  • Some sleep masks are reversible, helping you get extra wear between washes.
