From The Manufacturer

Utilizing a custom-formulated stone-derived coating from Germany, the Stone Earth Frying Pan by Ozeri reigns with its ability to deliver non-stick perfection while remaining absolutely free of toxic substances such as APEO, GenX fluorinated chemicals, PFBS, PFOS, PFOA, and the lesser known chemicals NMP and NEP. The Stone Earth Pan is far more durable and scratch-resistant than other non-stick surfaces, and always a breeze to clean. The Stone Earth Frying Pan is made of a heavy-gauge aluminum core that allows for fast and even cooking without hot spots. It boasts a magnetized bottom for rapid heat transfer on induction stoves, and a heat-resistant silicone-coated handle that is reinforced to the pan via 3 solid rivets.

Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

The magnetized coupled with the die cast aluminum base reduces hot spots whilst the temperature stabilizes.
This pan is made of the highest quality die-cast aluminum that allows for good heat conduction and even cooking without hot spots.
All in all, the Stone Earth pan is not too heavy, attractive looking (at first anyway), and very easy to clean.
Features a scratch-resistant stone-based coating that is super easy to clean.
The handle has a stainless-steel base and is riveted to the pan, which was a nice surprise since riveted handles are typically only seen on expensive cookware.
Not only does it have slightly taller sides than the average frying pan, it also comes in three different sizes and is also free of APEO and PFOA chemicals.
The material is thick, making the pan feel heavy, solid, and sturdy. Despite its thickness, it conducts heat extremely well, so it doesn’t need a high setting to cook well.
You can depend on this pan for cooking at even the highest temperatures, and still, you needn’t trouble yourself with the release of harmful elements.
This heavy gauge, the die-cast aluminum pan has a magnetized base and a hardened Greblon 3 inner coating that is scratch-resistant and relatively durable.
The interior is made of aluminum and it also has a magnetized base that can be used with an induction stove if you so choose. The stone pan also features a handle that is heat resistant and covered in silicon.
The base looks like its made out of stainless steel. This does two thing, it prevents it from warping. Two, it makes it induction capable.

What reviewers didn't like

Several customers mentioned that the interior coating of the pan wore off within several weeks of daily use.
The humped inner surface makes pockets of oil instead of an even spread.
While it is mostly non toxic, you will have to keep in mind the temperature limits since the coating does include PTFE’s.
It doesn’t come with a lid
Customers find the pan requires a lot of care and it must be seasoned before first use and regularly oiled as well.
The only issue that I see is the warranty. It is a lot shorter than other manufacturer. It has a 5 year limited lifetime warranty.
