Snow and ice are no match for Muck Arctic Pro Tall Rubber Insulated Extreme Conditions Men’s Hunting Boots. With a comfort range of -60 °F/-50 °C to 30 °F/-1 °C, these insulated hunting boots are the warmest Muck boots on the market. They feature 2 mm of thermal foam beneath the footbed that will keep your feet warm in extreme temperatures, plus fleece boot linings for additional warmth and comfort. These winter hunting boots also feature extra thick 8 mm neoprene that adjust to the contours of your feet, offering great comfort while helping to retain body heat. The stretch-fit Comfort Topline on these men’s hunting boots fits close to keep heat in and cold out. Lightweight EVA insoles offer superb cushioning, while double reinforcement in the instep, heel and Achilles provides extra support. The Bob-Tracker outsoles are built tough for performance and durability. The story began in 1999 with the sole purpose of building the most comfortable, high performance footwear on the market. The need for a more comfortable boot for use in messy and tough conditions led to the design of The Original Muck Boot Company brand footwear. Every boot in the line is expected to deliver the same 100% waterproof quality and comfort that inspired the original footwear. In just a few years, the line has grown to more than 20 styles, all designed to tackle tough conditions in agriculture, lawn and garden, outdoor sporting, equine, and pet care. Today, the Muck Boot brand defines a standard of comfort and quality that goes beyond the expectations of customers around the country.

Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

The lower portion of the boot consists of a synthetic rubbery material that flexes and bends to conform to your foot while holding its shape, while the upper half of the boot is made of a breathable but waterproof fabric to save weight and add flexibility.
The Arctic Pro is a more heavily insulated model. When standing in about 5 inches of a freezing, running stream for 10 minutes, our toes did not get cold at all while wearing these boots.
You will love the warmth sealed in by the calf area that fits snugly without suffocating your leg. Enjoy great flexibility with the eight-millimeter neoprene material that molds itself to the shape of your feet in such a way that you won’t have any chafed heels or blisters.
Bulked up with 8mm of neoprene. The thicker rubber body will lock your body heat in, while keeping the cold air out. The inside of the boots is lined with fleece. Last but not least, there is also a 2mm layer of thermal foam to keep out the cold on the underside of the feet. Altogether, the Muck Arctic Pro has the thermal-insulating design down to a tee.

What reviewers didn't like

Some hunters have reported that thorns can tear the 8mm CR flex-foam and four-way nylon upper.
Doesn't have the Vibram Arctic Grip outsole. It comes from the cuff at the top of the shaft. As a tall boot, this cuff is above the midway point on the calf, and it has an elastic band that closely wraps the shin and calf, which keeps cold air out and warm air in. However, it also rubs this area a bit in a way that we found mildly annoying.
The boots keep your feet so warm that if you stay indoors within a heated environment for too long, your feet will begin to sweat.
Unfortunately, the toe bumper in these boots is a little bit undersized and thin. It’ll protect your feet from incidental impacts, but don’t expect to kick a boulder and get away unscathed.
