From The Manufacturer

For grinding larger quantities of coffee beans for a coffee-drinking crowd, Capresso’s commercial-grade Infinity grinder handles 8-1/2 ounces of beans at a time. Sixteen different settings–four each in the four categories of extra fine, fine, regular, and coarse–let you adjust the grind to the specific blend of coffee and method of brewing. The finest setting is ideal for preparing Turkish coffee, which is a rare feature to find in a grinder. A built-in timer sets the grind for anywhere between 5 and 60 seconds so you can walk away without having to constantly press a button to continue the grinding process. The Infinity has an advanced conical burr design made of steel that is usually only found on commercial grinders. This burr design slows down the gears and reduces the amount of friction and heat to preserve coffee’s flavor and aroma. The coffee container holds up to 4 ounces of grounds and remains sealed during grinding. For safety, the bean container also needs to be locked into place for the Infinity to operate. Also, for easy cleaning, the bean container and upper burr lift off so you can clean the grinding chamber with the included brush and wipe down the and heavy-duty zinc die-cast housing with Stainless Steel finish.

What reviewers liked

Stands out for its easy-to-use settings and quiet operation. Has a safety-lock system for added security during use.
Low noise level
- Roasty
The precise steel burrs and the low RPM motor are excellent, especially for the price you pay. You can expect them to last you for years.
The built-in timer allows you to set the grind anywhere between 60 and 5 seconds with a simple, one-time setting.
The Capresso Infinity is a sturdy grinder that is well put together. It was plainly produced for every day use and will last for quite a long time.
Using the grinder is simple. Just pour the estimated coffee beans and till the pointed fineness level (depicted with a dot), close the lid and then start the coffee maker.
Slower grinding retains the flavor
The Infinity is easy to take apart, which is great for cleaning and maintenance. With the stainless steel construction, it looks more attractive and is more stable.
Unlike many other grinders which build up heat in the beans, destroying their flavor, the Infinity burrs rotate at an impressively slow 250 RPM

What reviewers didn't like

It produces inconsistent results — some of our testers noted that coarse grinds were present even on fine settings.
You can get the lighter, stainless finish or black 560.04 or 560.01 models for a little cheaper if you are willing to compromise on the build materials and noise level
- Roasty
Available only in stainless steel finish and more expensive.
The only disadvantage is the grinding speed, but let’s faces it, it’s going to be 30 seconds versus 20. That is not a real problem for a home barista.
Cleaning the Capresso Infinity is where ease of use is really hampered. Because of the previously mentioned plastic parts, coffee grounds get stuck into little crevices in the grinder due to the static cling generated.
Loud
Grounds get stuck on the plastic grounds container due to static
As you may find in other Capresso reviews, the minimal variety of settings is usually the main complaint, especially when compared with other grinders like the Baratza Encore.
