Traveling the country and chowing down on ribs sounds like a great way to spend your summer. How about getting $10,000 to do it?  Believe it or not, this dream gig exists.

Reynolds Wrap is hiring a Chief Grilling Officer, and for two weeks in August 2019, whoever snags this illustrious position will set out to find the best BBQ ribs the nation has to offer. Along the way, the CGO will share photos as well as tips and grilling techniques on the Reynolds Kitchens website and the company’s social media channels.

In addition to getting delicious ribs, the CGO will be compensated with a $10,000 stipend as well as pre-paid travel and lodging for themselves and a guest. Make sure all your friends know that their skills in the kitchen may be under scrutiny as you consider who’s worthy to accompany you on this epic adventure.

Last year, Kari Blanks of Oklahoma was chosen as the company’s first ever CGO. She sampled ribs from some of the most well-known BBQ destinations in the country, including Memphis, Nashville, Austin, Kansas City and Dallas. You can read all about her experiences here.

To apply, simply submit a photo of yourself at the grill making your favorite dish along with 100 words describing why you’d make the perfect CGO to careeers@ReynoldsWrapCGO.com. Applications will be accepted through Wednesday, June 19 at 12 a.m. CT, so be sure to get yours in before the deadline!

Do you think you have what it takes to be a successful CGO? While you’re waiting to hear back on your application, you can try out some of the delicious BBQ recipes from Reynolds Kitchens, like this one for Bourbon-BBQ Glazed Baby Back Ribs.

Good luck!
