What reviewers liked
Well designed internal cooling keeps the ice cream at the optimal temperature. LCD screen is easy to navigate as well.
It has the same capacity as the ICM-201SB, but the same low, wide profile as the ICM-15LS, as well as the same motor and compressor (according to a sales rep).
The Whynter is makes both hard and soft serve ice cream. It's 2.1 quarts which holds a large amount of ice cream in a short period of time.
What reviewers didn't like
Cleaning the machine can be labor intensive, especially considering the mix can sometimes get stuck on the paddle.
The price is usually closer to that of the ICM-201SB, but we found the performance more similar to that of the less expensive ICM-15LS, so we think it’s a good choice only if you can find it on sale, or if the other options are sold out.
