What reviewers liked

Other Products We Considered.
They worked great. The insoles are also cushioned and quite comfortable and the best way to describe how they feel is that they are sturdy foam with a textured cloth top layer where your feet touch them. They are slightly flexible to make it easy to insert them into shoes.
The removable rechargeable battery lies fairly flush with the insole. The battery is padded with Poron, an antimicrobial, shock-absorbing cushion. The Poron cushion is very cushiony,
There is also a standby mode so you can turn off the heat completely without removing your shoes. There are two heat settings: medium, which sets the heat at 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and high, which is 111degrees Fahrenheit. The electric heating lasts for a pretty long time before it needs to have a charge and they’ve also included a carry case so you can keep all the various parts of this combo pack together.
To allow your feet to breathe, these insoles are made of polyurethane foam, which also absorbs shock and retains shape. These heated insoles with remote come with 2 rechargeable lithium-ion polymer batteries and all other essentials you need for their optimum functioning.
The insoles worked as advertised with the batteries lasting just over 5 hours on medium heat which is is a comfortable temperature without the feeling being hot and at no point were my feet sweating, it feels natural. The Proflex is fairly flexible considering it is a heated insole and feels very natural when walking or ski touring. It perform like any other foot bed I have used in the past while skiing. This is where I believe this insoles will truly shine, I have spent countless days skiing the resort in -20°C or colder just wishing I had a product like this!
With several temperature adjustments (wireless remote control), those insoles will definitely reduce the moisture in your boots and provide optimal comfort throughout the day during your outdoor activities.

What reviewers didn't like

The thickness did make it a little difficult to use in some shoes. I usually wear dress shoes on a daily basis, and I found that the ThermaCELL insoles were borderline too thick for me to use. I had to really loosen the laces just to make the shoes comfortable to wear with the ThermaCELL insoles and even then it sometimes felt that I was busting out of my shoes.
My only con regarding the sizing is that I found the Heated Insoles to run on the larger side. If I were to get another pair I would go down to a size medium since I’m right at 8 ½, which is the beginning of the large size. I would also recommend going up a size on whatever boot or shoe you plan on wearing the insoles in. My boots were a size 9. The insoles did not fit in my 8 ½ sized boots.
May have to trim to fit.
Might have short battery life.
I did find the high setting to be a bit too warm for my personal comfort.
Although the insoles increased the warmth inside the boots, they unfortunately could not keep the cold at bay, and I had to stop my ride for a few minutes to get warm in a shelter.
