Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

The tank is solid and stylish, with a stainless steel exterior and a strong handle for lifting and moving the vacuum around.
Increasing the size of the storage tank on a shop vac will allow you to work longer without having to empty it. The Stanley Pro Stainless Steel sits in the middle of small and large shop vac options with an eight gallon tank.

What reviewers didn't like

The first thing you'll notice when you turn on the Stanley is how loud it is. The tank is simply too small to diffuse the noise of a 4-horsepower motor, and we tested this shop vacuum at a maximum volume of 97 dB. That's the loudest of all the wet-dry vacuums in our rankings.
This Stanley was the strangest of the wet/dry vacuums we tested—and not in a good way. It also lacked in power and isn't a great value.
