The Shark IONFlex 2X provides the benefits of DuoClean Technology with cordless convenience. The 2X Duoclean comes with a pair of 25.2 volt lithium-ion battery. LED lights are fitted right on the batteries which display the charge level. This is a great convenience feature, as it allows you to put the additional battery on charge before the one fitted on the cleaner runs out. Its easy-grip handle allows you to clean lofts and ceilings by picking up the cleaner with one hand
Better at getting crumbs off bare floors and pet hair off furniture.
The extension wand is flexible in the middle so you can bend it so the vacuum head will reach under furniture, tables, or beds with ease. When you are done ‘reaching’ you can simply straighten the wand back out to operate in full upright mode. This is what you would want for fast cleaning of large areas and rooms. This MultiFLEX feature is a big time saver as you don’t have to periodically move your large items around so you can grab the dust bunnies underneath them. A small adjustment to the Shark is all you need.
It easily converts into a handheld vacuum for better portability and has MultiFLEX technology, which enables the vacuum to fold over for compact, free-standing storage. It also features LED headlights on the cleaning head, allowing you to see fine messes.
What reviewers didn't like
No HEPA and the smaller dust bin size of Shark forces you to empty the cup more frequently
It’s heavier and louder, has a shorter battery life, and just isn’t quite as pleasant to use.
The one area it may struggle with is thick or high pile carpeting, but the power and brush roll do an adequate job there. You may need something bigger and heavier if you have primarily thick carpets.
It has a small dust canister and doesn’t come with a HEPA filter.
