Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Works quickly. No butter or oil needed. Very few unpopped kernels. Built-in measuring cup. Easy to clean. Not too bulky.
The only highlights are its speed and efficiency in popping kernels.
Lightweight and compact shape make it easy to store. Affordable without compromising quality. Fast popping time.

What reviewers didn't like

No on/off switch. Plastic top warps easily. Some kernels escape when it’s warming up. Doesn’t melt butter well.
Presto’s design leaves much to be desired. Namely, this popper completely lacks an on/off switch, meaning it needs to be unplugged to be shut off. This is a huge inconvenience for some people, and I found it incredibly irritating to deal with throughout the testing. It’s as loud as other air poppers and gave off a chemical smell during my first use.
Doesn't have an on-off button. Rather noisy.
