PackIt Lunch Bags chill food all day, letting you pack healthy foods that would spoil in other bags such as: yogurt, deli meat, milk, fruits and veggies. The cooling power lasts long enough to bring home leftovers, which reduces waste and saves you money. A zippered closure locks in cool, dry air and a buckle handle easily clip onto totes, backpacks or strollers. This soft lunch bag is made from nontoxic poly canvas and has a food-safe, water-resistant lining. Like all PackIt products, the Freezable Lunch Bag is made from PVC-, BPA-, phthalate-, formaldehyde- and lead-free materials. This bag features PackIt’s patented cooling technology, which utilizes freezable gel that is permanently built into the bag. Just throw it in the freezer for 12 hours, and it’s good to go—no need for ice packs.
- Heavy
In its “storage” configuration, the Packit can be folded in half and kept in the freezer overnight (where it takes up about as much room as a clutch purse); when it’s being used, it unfolds, and is about the same size and shape as a textbook. The bag zippers shut, and it also has a flap that fastens shut with Velcro. You could definitely fit an adult-sized lunch in here, but lunch AND a beverage AND an ice pack might be a tight squeeze.
You can have your snacks, drinks or even sandwich kept cool as you enjoy your vacation or trip. It features a patented freezable gel that is built into liner hence no need for ice or other gel packs. All you need to do is fold your pack flat and freeze it overnight.

What reviewers didn't like

They do a pretty poor job of keeping items cool for very long (since the bag itself is supposed to be what is doing the cooling) has construction issues and weak materials, expensive for the storage size.
Somehow small in size
Some consumers have complained that the velcro tends to wear out after a while. This bag is on the small side, so it may not be ideal for overnight trips or moms who pump a ton of milk every day at work.
- Heavy
A fair number of user reviews reported that the Velcro came off of the bag or failed to keep the outside flap shut, which renders the Packit’s handle ineffective.
Unfortunately, its Velcro strap is weak and can pop open unexpectedly.
The velcro closure could be better quality. Not as large as other bags.
The Velcro used for this bag is not reliable. The bag is heavy.
Velcro closure susceptible to breakage although the zip goes to the top.
