Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Paper feels smooth and can handle gel rollers. We like the elastic band to keep everything tight. It's a good basic lined journal with a strong cover for writing on the go.
“But Brad, I don’t use fountain pens!” I hear ya, and you may be ok purchasing and using a Moleskine notebook. I’d say with ballpoints and pencils you will be perfectly happy.
It has a cover with rounded corners that’s cardboard bound, a bookmark and paper that’s free of acid – this notebook is everything in one. It also has an elastic closure and houses an inner pocket which can be expanded. This inner packet contains the Moleskine history.

What reviewers didn't like

There's no pen loop or pocket in back for extra storage and some pens will bleed through.
I bought this notebook to see if the rumors I had heard about improved paper were true. It is worse than I expected. With a fountain pen, it feels like I’m using a stone paper notebook.
In the Moleskine notebook, the pages have no headings, are unnumbered, and there are no content pages or perforated sheets.
