This chair has excellent ergonomics, in part because the armrests are adjustable too. They can be raised, lowered, or even removed if you’d prefer.
The lumbar support and headrest make even the most grueling workdays or gaming marathons comfortable and enjoyable.
The included lumbar cushion and headrest pillow provide extra support just where you need it during long periods of gaming or relaxation and can be adjusted for added support on your head, neck or anywhere on the length of your torso.
It is complete with 360 thick padding throughout the length of the chair that supports every inch of your body while seated.
The chair has thick padded arm pillow and seat. The ergonomic design offers great comfort and is ideal for people who want to impress others with a great looking furniture with simultaneously is part of best cheap gaming chairs.
This is a truly impressive chair that’s perfect for any gamer, really. It has an awesome racing-style design, is a high-back chair, has thick, ultra-comfortable padding, great lumbar support, a headrest pillow, 360 degree swivel, can tilt back a full 180 degrees, and is built to last.
The chair will allow you to kick back and relax with its 180-degree recline feature.
It comes with high-grade PU leather and it ergonomically comparable to some of the best computer gaming chairs out there. With features like a lumbar support pillow, headrest pillow and adjustable armrests, you’ll be able to game for hours in this bad boy.
With a 33.1″ backrest you can fit people that are 6’2″ ( and maybe beyond) with ease. The seat is also quite large: 21.7″ gives you enough room for your legs. You should not have problems with that chair.
The chair, like the Topsky, is super easy to assemble. The Armrest is something we really liked in the Merax as it is a bit closer and much more comfortable.
It has 360 - degree swiveling capability with lock function.

This gaming chair has a lot of applications besides gaming. You can have it in your office or even study room.

What reviewers didn't like

Seat may feel narrow for broad hips. Armrests only adjust vertically.
Really, our only complaint is the gratuitous branding. Gaming chairs are almost always very visually striking, but the Merax logos actually detract from its appearance. It’s as though the company was trying to make sure you wouldn’t forget them, but simply, if the chair is good enough, you’ll remember Merax without this kind of prompting.
Not having a footrest.
One issue is that since it is a high backrest chair, it puts your back in very straight up position which can be a bit uncomfortable sometimes.
It is a bit pricier.
The one major downside, though, is that the seat is a bit narrow and thus not best-suited for bigger users who have wider hips.
That being said, I wish that the maximum load capacity was higher. At only 250 lb, it is still decent but a 300 lb would have been better especially when you consider the fact that this chair is quite large.
The major downside with the Merax is the fact you cannot lean back and lock it in. While you can recline, there is no lock-in for simply leaning back. Leaning back is a habit most people have when sitting in an office chair, so this can be frustrating.
Too much wobbly at maximum height.
-
Low Weight Limit – For an almost $200 PC gaming chair, 300 lbs would be best and not the supported 250 lbs. weight limit.
