What reviewers didn't like

May be prone to leaking. May make a buzzing noise.
Not as budget-friendly.
Runs slightly louder than its competitors.
Can’t be used on soft or porous stones (pearls, opals, emeralds). Can’t run for more than 20 minutes at a time. Exterior scratches easily.
Note that you can't put loose, soft, or porous stones in the cleaner, as they might get damaged.
Just note: Los Angeles-based gemologist and jewelry designer Daria de Koning cautions against using ultrasonic cleaners on porous stones, such as emeralds opals or pearls. Also, “ultrasonic cleaners work well but they can also loosen diamonds which are set in pave,” adds Fox.
