Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

The G930 is a good, affordable wireless headset for PC users.
Not only is wireless setup easy and foolproof, but the quality is just about perfect. There's no lag, no inconsistency, no hiss, and the headset works up to a range of 40 feet.
They're durable enough to not break from a couple of accidental falls, but they do not feel as sturdy or as premium as some of the other gaming headphones within their price range.
Wireless headsets need to have consistent playback, devoid of any latency, first and foremost. We’re happy to report that the G930 excels here, with easy setup and lagless playback.
So the Logitech G930 Headset offers great sound, booming bass (which was surprise), significant positional audio and great clarity even in a game like BF3 where a cacophony of sounds converge and vie for an ear’s attention. I was even commended on the mic clarity.
High-quality audio output
Compared to other wireless headsets for games, the 10 hours battery life is very good for a cheaper headset like Logitech G930.
It’s a pleasant surprise, therefore, that the G930 headset software works so well. Installation is a snap, and once the drivers are installed the headset can be plugged in and used immediately.
In gaming, the G930 setup really shined. Sound was crystal clear from both highs and lows and in stereo mode, the voices, action, and music sounded really close to the ears.
Another unique feature is also on the left cup, the bottom of the ear cup has a micro USB port, this allows users to charge the headset. When the microphone is on mute a red light turns on to notify you, so that you know if you are being heard on the other end.
The Logitech G930 headset is exceptional in sound quality and comfort.
All told, the Logitech G930 is an extraordinary piece of hardware, handling game audio, chat and music with equal ease. It’s got the sort of high-fidelity audio and durability I’d expect at triple the price, and hell, it even looks awesome.
The G930 Headset by Logitech is able to provide up to ten hours of battery life with every charge.
The microphone is of decent quality, providing clear communication. It has built-in noise cancelling so your listeners will only hear you, not whatever is going on in the room near you.
Its wireless range is excellent and transmits on the 2.4GHz range for long distance with high quality.

What reviewers didn't like

While its sound quality isn't quite at the level of high-end gaming headsets
My only complaint is that the power button and the surround-sound button are very close together, and just about the same size.
The isolation performance is sub-par. These over-ear headphones don't have active noise cancellation (ANC) and therefore, don't isolate in the bass range.
Bass isn’t particularly powerful
There are of course rare instances when the software for the headset stops working properly, in this case, microphone issues are common.
Pricey
The one thing I wish the G930 could do was turn off the transmitter and re-route the sound back to the main speakers when I powered off the headset.
The only downside is that the bass leaves a bit to be desired.
One minor problem I noticed was that once every hour or so, the headset would lose connectivity for a few seconds.
The 160 dollar price tag must look a little pricy,
Although, the mic quality isn’t the best when you look at the quality of some other mics that you can find in the market.
