From The Manufacturer

Joseph Joseph’s Adjustable Rolling Pin will take the guess work out of preparing pizza and pie crusts, cookies, lasagne sheets, and filo pastry. The rolling pin has four pairs of colorful, removable discs which raise the rolling pin to the required thickness of 1/16-inch, 1/6-inch, 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch off the counter. This clever design will ensure that the pastry or dough is rolled to an even thickness throughout. The rings are held to the rolling pin with plastic screws. Also etched into the wood is a width measurement guide. Hand-wash for best results. Do not submerge in water; dry immediately after washing.

Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Removable discs raise the rolling surface by different amounts to create exactly the required pastry thickness. Measurements are on the pin for easy use.
This cool-looking pin recommended by Saveur has a set of built-in spacers, and markings on the shaft of the pin for measuring the diameter or width of your dough. The spacers are built like plastic washers held on with a plastic bolt.

What reviewers didn't like

Some have said the rolling pin isn't long enough to roll out large pieces of dough.
Fussing with unscrewing the set and screwing back on the desired spacer was a hassle and we could imagine losing them in our kitchen. We prefered the easily-replaceable generic spacers we tested on the JK Adams Rolling Dowel.
