Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

This cooler is designed to have long cooling life, and overall it does a pretty good job of it. The Ultratherm layer and UV inhibitors definitely help and you can expect a properly sealed unit to keep ice frozen for 5 days or so. The reason we mention “properly sealed” is that some of the examples have questionable lids that don’t form a good seal. This is unfortunate and makes its performance really on a case by case basis.
For easy transportation and handling, it features swing-up handles with a tie-down loop. You can carry it on your own or have a helper thanks to the placing on either side of the cooler.
The cooler comes with dual snap-fit latches which seal the lid completely, the lid shuts out air from entering and keeps the cold in. Flexible handles are attached on sides of the coolers allowing users to easily lift the polar bear around.
The best part about this cooler is the size. It’s much bigger in person than you’d expect which is useful for large family gatherings, picnics or camping trips.
This cooler has swing up handles like a lot of coolers this size and the handles have a tie-down loop feature so if you need to secure it to your car, truck or camper then this is useful. Good luck trying to carry this while it is full though.

What reviewers didn't like

This is a large cooler with no wheels so it won’t be the easiest cooler to move around, especially when it is full. Other large coolers also suffer from this challenge but, unfortunately, the hinges and handles on this ice chest are just too weak. They are made of plastic and easily break after a few uses.
Well apart from some minor flaws like the fragile parts, and low-quality build, there aren’t many downsides to write about this product.
Lid doesn’t fully seal sometimes
While a major flaw in the design of this cooler with moderate use and without excessive exposure to the sun it’s not a deal breaker as they’ll likely last a decent amount of time.
