From The Manufacturer

Wondering how to keep rugs from slipping? This is a problem that troubles many people. To address it, we provide a new material which works as a rug pads gripper. This method uses VACUUM TECH design which grips all types of floors firmly and easily. Patent Pending. Design Feature. This product can easily be glued under any rug. The side facing the floor features tiny suction pores. These pores utilize the VACUUM TECH feature in which whenever pressure is applied from the top, air escapes and creates a low-pressure region within the cups. This produces an adhesive effect, which keeps your rug in place. Does Not Work For Rugs On Carpet Floors. Advantages. The rug anti curling gripper is less than 1/10 inch thick and inconspicuous after installing. Suction technology firmly sticks to the floor without causing marks or damage, and the gripper easily peels off the floor. It is convenient to wash, as you won’t have to separate it from your carpet for cleaning. The rug tape adds extra comfort underfoot owing to the slightly bouncy nature of suction technology. Components. This package includes 4 pieces. Each piece is square in order to increase the surface area in contact with the floor. That leaves your kitchen, bathroom, and hallway much more secure. You can even use them outdoors to prevent slipping and flatten corners. A 1-YEAR Money Back accompanies this product. This ensures that your rug remains securely in place, and helps to prevent accidental slips and falls. If you are not satisfied, send us a message and we will make a refund without any question.

What makes these rug grippers so strong are the tons of tiny suction cups each one has, and whenever pressure is applied, the air escapes from and flattens the cups to make them stick. To use them, simply peel off the protective film from the adhesive side of the grippers and stick them onto the bottom of your rug. Shoppers have called these "effective," "easy to install," and "a must-have." Measuring less than one-tenth of an inch in thickness, the Home Techpro grippers are barely noticeable once applied. Note that they only work on non-carpeted hard surfaces and won't be compatible with tatami floors or rugs that sit atop another carpet.
- Real Simple
This high-tech rug gripper uses vacuum technology to keep your rugs from slipping and sliding around the floor. You put the little grippers around the edge or on the corners of your rug, like tape. The side that goes directly on the floor has pore-like suction cups that knocks the air out of the rug whenever it’s stepped on. The grippers are only 1/10 of an inch large, so they aren’t noticeable.
- Style Caster
The gripper can remain on the rug even when it’s being cleaned in the washing machine.

An Overview On Rug Pads

Many people end up in emergency rooms every year because of slips and falls, and rug grippers and non-slip pads are one of the easiest ways to prevent these accidents. Young children and senior citizens might be more prone to slipping and falling, but non-slip pads are essential no matter how old you and your family members are. Not all rug pads are non-slip, though; many are only designed to protect floors or carpets.

Rugs that are not secured with pads tend to bunch up or slide. Non-slip pads are usually made from PVC, polyurethane, latex or rubber and can be thin or dense. Those with open-grid construction allow the floors and rugs to breathe and provide strong grips. However, check the height since pads raise the rugs from the ground. If they are too tall and next to an entryway, the door might not be able to open all the way, so measure the height of the rug and pad before buying the latter.

Felt rug pads don’t have anti-slip properties and are placed beneath rugs when something else holds them in place, like a couch. Like the other kinds of pads, these are designed to protect floors and add a bit of cushioning. There are also rug pads that are used on top of wall-to-wall carpeting. These often have adhesive backs that get fitted onto the backs of the rugs.

Non-slip rug pads come in various sizes; if you can’t find what you need, you can usually trim them down to size with a pair of household scissors. If you have several rugs and need a few pads, buy one large one and cut it into smaller pieces. Turn the rug upside down, put the pad on top and trace where you need to cut. Don’t cut it all the way out to the edges because it may show; leave a 1/4-inch to 1/2-inch border.

The Rug Pad Buying Guide

  • You can’t use all rug pads on all kinds of floors. Some product descriptions note that you cannot use their pads on vinyl, natural stone, acrylic and other surfaces.
  • Rug pads also prevent mattresses, seat cushions and futons from sliding. Look for thicker ones in this case because you’ll benefit from the extra cushioning.
  • Make sure that the floor or carpeting is clean and dry before placing the pad down.
  • Smooth down any wrinkles in the pad after placing it.
  • Do not use rug pads on stairs because it is unsafe; other products are made for this purpose.
