With a 2.7-amp engine, the GreenWorks 22102 delivers moderate power that is suitable for light trimming duties, such as some simple hedge grooming. A key benefit of this model, as an electric hedge trimmer, is that it produces no emissions. Both you and your neighbors will also appreciate that this hedge trimmer runs quietly.
2.7 amp electric motor. 18" dual action steel blade. Good maneuverability. 3/8" cutting capacity. Works well on bushes and shrubs. Cord lock prevents accidental unplugging. Works on pampas grass and other weeds and tall grasses.
The power may seem like nothing out of the ordinary on paper, but we were extremely pleased and surprised with what we got from this equipment.This ties into the first point; the GreenWorks 22102 produces zero carbon emissions without sacrificing power. For the more environmentally conscious, this model is a good choice.The model is also pretty light in weight which makes it maneuverable and less tiring especially when you have to do a whole day of yard work.
The small engine which is only 2.7 amps, it’s a light-weight model with sharp and robust 18-inch, dual-action blades for clean cuts.
Capacity which helps in cutting down of bushes and shrubs without stress is something to make you want more.

What reviewers didn't like
This hedge trimmer has a very short power cord, so it most likely will require an extension cord long enough to cover your garden area. The extension cord connects to the power cord and loops through the handle, then over the cord retention hook. This stops the cord from pulling out of the outlet while the hedge trimmer is in use.
Does not work well on branches over 1/4".
We are not complaining though; it is helpful for adding some pizzazz to otherwise drab yard work.
Not ideal for large yards or heavy trimming jobs
it is not suitable for tougher tasks because of its inadequate cutting capacity and poorly-designed auxiliary handle. It is not intended for heavy duty use because of its limited cutting capacity and power. Powered by a 2.7amp engine, the hedge trimmer offers decent power that is just right for light trimming tasks
Attached cord is short, you need to buy an extension cord and could be slightly longer in length.
