it’s good at picking up most dust and dirt on both shorter carpets and hardwood floors – it's not going to replace a solid afternoon of mopping a hard floor or a professional clean of your carpet, but it does fine at the basics.
It does detect the edges of stairs to prevent toppling over, and methodically reroutes when it bumps into a narrow chair leg or gets trapped under the couch.
Two spinning brushes attached to the bottom of this vacuum also help to sweep dirt / debris into the suction area, ensuring it is cleaned up upon passing.
The two side brushes and motorized job will do the job picking up dirt.
You can start and stop it, change cleaning patterns, schedule cleanings, and command it to clean your home when you're at work. That means the N79 is the most affordable smart robot vacuum you can buy.

Minor navigation issues.
It doesn't do a serious deep clean
The N79S is too loud to have running when I’m in the same room, so I have it scheduled to run nightly, starting at 3AM.
The suction power was simply not enough to reach the deeply ingrained particles of debris (sugar mainly).
Unfortunately the bristles aren’t stiff so this won’t deep clean carpet.
The Deebot N79 lacks fancy features like camera-based navigation or high-capacity batteries.
The app can be a little confusing to figure out at first.Not recommended for dark colored or thick carpets. Can have trouble finding it's charger base.
