From The Manufacturer

The EatSmart Precision CalPal Digital Bathroom Scale gives you the ability to work towards long-term weight goals while monitoring Body Mass Index and Estimated Caloric Intake – often the motivational tools needed to achieve success. As soon as you step on the scale, auto-recognition software remembers and identifies up to four users based on past weights and a simple, one-time setup. In addition to displaying weight, the Precision CalPal takes the guesswork out of weight loss by estimating the number of calories needed to be consumed per day to maintain your current weight. Equipped with a BMI (Body Mass Index) indicator, the Precision CalPal scale shows how you rank within national standards. By simply entering your height, gender, age and activity level, the digital scale provides a personalized set of target BMI measurements. This data can then be used to shape your weight loss, gain or maintenance plan and achieve your ideal weight. The digital BMI scale’s high precision EatSmart sensors give consistent and accurate measurements for weights up to 440 lbs / 200 kgs. The scale has an easy to read, 3.7 inches dual line LCD readout with black digits on a bright blue background. Its sleek design combines high density plastic and tempered glass to create a modern look with a slim profile. The scale runs on 3AAA batteries, which are included with your purchase.

Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

The scale detects changes in weight of a few tenths of a pound, whereas most other scales will only respond reliably to a weight change on the order of half a pound, or will even pull your weight readings from memory without trying to measure you.
Once you save your information, the scale will remember you every time you weigh yourself and let you see your last weight with the "memory" button.

What reviewers didn't like

Although some people may not like the scale's glass platform and curved sides that make it seem less sturdy and small, we appreciate that this scale looks nicer than others we tested.
