Dyson Cyclone V10 Motorhead Balanced Cordless Stick Vacuum

Last updated: March 16, 2023

This vacuum has a 60-minute run time and pet hair is no match for it. It's great whether you're cleaning out a car or vacuuming pretty much any type of flooring in your home. However, for the steep price tag, it may be good to go with another Dyson version, as the battery improvements and suction power may not be upgraded enough to match the high price.

Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

The new Dyson V10, announced today, has all of the expected enhancements: a more powerful motor, a more efficient battery, and a larger bin than the preceding V8.

This lightweight floor cleaner is ultra compact and operates entirely cord-free.
-
The Max position drives the motor to its full 125,000rpm and produces quite frankly amazing suction power.
It's powerful and extremely convenient for vacuuming cars or removing pet hair from your floors and furniture.
We got our hands on a V10 Absolute, did some testing, and found that the claims about the battery life and cleaning power are only true in a best-case scenario.
The Dyson V10 has up to a 60 minute run time.
It has unmatched suction power, is exceptionally easy to use and provides an awesome, convenient solution for cleaning up messes around your home.
This model also includes an illuminated battery indicator and a pressure sensor to alert you when the filter needs to be changed.

What reviewers didn't like

Very expensive.
- Wired
it’s noisy.
Our only complaints are that the wall mount doesn't include screws, and you need to keep your finger on the power button the whole time you're using it.
Survey data we published reveals that Dyson stick vacuums break at a higher rate than those of any other brand in our tests, pushing them to the bottom tier of our predicted reliability ratings.
The V10 is a lot pricier than the V7 and V8, and we don’t think its slight improvements are worth its hefty price tag.
This Dyson can be awkward to hold as a stick when cleaning in higher areas.
Unfortunately, the V10 matches its supreme performance with a supremely high price tag that will be out of most people's budget and is a bit on the noisy side.
it won't come cheap.
