Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Wood construction and attractive espresso finish. Good for a small child’s bedroom or guest room. Assembly is straightforward and takes around 90 minutes. Wide ladder steps make it easy to get on and off.
The clearance under the loft bed is 26.75″, giving enough room for kids to sit on the floor underneath.
The horizontal paneling and full-length guardrail keep them from rolling out of bed in their sleep, and the stepladder is built-in so that you don’t have to worry about it sliding out from underneath them while they’re climbing up or down.
Parents that are looking for a space-saving bed for their children’s room can opt for the Milton Junior bed and complete the setup with some extra storage-designed furniture placed underneath.

What reviewers didn't like

Some buyers report cracks developing in the wood over time.
The weight limit of 165 pounds prevents mom or dad from climbing up to read a story or tuck in.
It is important to note that while compatible with a Twin-sized mattress, the package doesn’t include the mattress itself, which means you’re in for a separate expense.
