This kids’ loft bed has a sloped ladder and rope for climbing into bed and a mini-slide to get out. It has a high panel on the outer side of the loft bed that provides additional safety and doubles as a chalkboard.
This loft bed is super low to the ground, which makes it feel extra safe. There's a slide and sturdy ladder that is ideal for kids just learning to climb. It also has a chalkboard on the side that makes it double as a toy for more versatility.
We especially liked how the design substitutes a ladder or staircase for a slide board. It’s equipped with three wooden rims that ensure a safer grip. If your toddler has just learned to crawl, then this feature will come in handy. Undoubtedly, the chalkboard on the front of the frame is bound to attract children. This would have rated as our top loft bed with a slide for kids but the slide on this model is mini and not as long and fun as the slide on the DHP bed. The bed has a weight limit of 160 pounds, meaning most adults cannot sit on the bed with their child.
There isn't a ton of space underneath.
The paint smell can be too strong for kids.
This toddler bed is a bit on the pricey side.
