From The Manufacturer

Go green without sacrificing taste thanks to Cuisinart’s GreenGourmet cookware set. The set consists of a skillet, a covered fry pan, a covered small sauce pan, a covered large sauce pan, a covered everyday pan, a covered dutch oven, and a steamer insert. Containing all the basic kitchen essentials, the set is made of anodized hard aluminum and uses a ceramic-based, eco-friendly nonstick coating. The handles are made of 70% recycled steel, while the packaging is made of recycled materials and printed using soy-based inks. Because the set is hard anodized, heat is diffused evenly, eliminating hot spots and improving flavor. Oven safe to 500 degrees F, each piece is PTFE/PFOA and petroleum free.

Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Versatile selection of pots and pans. Eco-friendly nonstick finish. Oven safe to 400 degrees. Eco-friendly materials and packaging.
Maintained a steady simmer. Comes with detailed owner's manual. Pans/lids are oven safe up to 400°F. Handle and lid stayed cool to the touch during cooking.
Fast and even heating. Low key attractive aesthetic. Free from PTFE and PFOA.
Heats evenly. Great value. Comes with metal lids.
Versatile. Easy to clean. Oven-safe. Even heat distribution. Non-stick surface.
Available in several set sizes or as individual pieces. Water-based Ceramica nonstick glaze won’t peel off and is PTFE and PFOA-free. Complies with European and US safety regulations. Scratch-resistant glaze. Tempered glass lids with steam hole. Safe to use in the oven and broiler.
The pots and pans are pretty compact and so do not take up too much space. Each of the components in the set has a robust construction. Diffuses the heat evenly throughout the surface. Includes all the primary kitchen essentials. Does not cause any hotspots.

What reviewers didn't like

No stockpot. Handles get hot while cooking.
Didn’t brown steak evenly. Scorched tomato sauce. Handles are riveted, making them trickier to clean.
Average durability for ceramic is often 6-24 months. Not suitable for use with induction stoves. Some of the dishes (wok, stock pot, dutch oven) don't really benefit by being nonstick and you could find them in other materials for a similar price.
Doesn’t stack well for storage. Doesn’t include a large skillet.
Hand cleaning only. Metal utensils can damage its interior.
Not dishwasher safe. Only use ceramic-safe utensils.
This set might not perform as well as before after a year of use. Not effective while cooking large meals.
