Designer Philip Booth grew up watching sparks fly in his father’s tool and die shop, and he’s since made a serious name for himself from his own in Ithaca, Michigan. Surrounded by everyday carry folders replete with drop point blades, Philip decided to crumple up the go-to blueprint and make something totally different. Enter: the Ripsnort. A cleaver-shaped blade owns the first impression, but the black handle with a stainless steel accent isn’t far behind. With a powerful knife comes a secure lock up when the blade is open thanks to the burly locking liner.
