An updated version of a popular party game. More than 150 new cards for hours of hilarious - sometimes risque - fun. Easy to play; ideal for groups.
Cards Against Humanity is a modern classic in the adult party game genre that’s easy to play and delivers big laughs.
The cards are some of the most creative I’ve seen. Very easy to learn rules. Game is quite open-ended, scoring is really optional to the game itself. Will spark some interesting conversations. Can be expanded up constantly.
Cards games have a storied history of wasting time in a very relaxed manner, offering the precious opportunity to just sit with people.
What reviewers didn't like
Not suitable for young children; contains adult-themed content. Doesn't require same type of strategy or skill that some users prefer in board games.
Many of us had played the game before, but upon replaying it a few years later, it was clear that some of the cards had not aged well.
Now if you are very conservative or easily offended, then this is definitely not the game for you.
It encourages you to make jokes about minorities, people of colour, people with disabilities, and at times I was looking at cards that made me think this was comedy from the 1920s.
