It’s a dish that’s gaining more and more popularity – because who doesn’t love dipping bread and other garnishes into fresh, hot cheese? The most classic Swiss fondue recipe is made with cheeses such as Gruyere, Vacherin and Emmentaler. However, cheese fondue comes in many varieties. The ready made versions found in the supermarkets are usually a fine starting point to invent your own creations. Maintenance The fondue pot is microwave safe as well as dishwasher safe. The oak wood base is best cleaned by hand. A monthly rub of mineral oil will keep the wood looking great. Contents – 400 mL stoneware fondue pot – Wooden base – 4 stainless steel fondue forks with wooden handles – 1 tea light – 1 tea light holder About Boska Holland Cheesewares We love cheese! Our innovative family-owned company started as a blacksmith making tools for the cheese farmers in Holland, and now we are the world’s only specialist in Cheesewares: cheese tools and accessories. In short: we sell everything you need to enjoy cheese except the cheese itself!

What reviewers liked

The best part: It's super easy to store, no matter how small your kitchen is.

Small and stylish, this is a good option for couples or for one person who loves chocolate or cheese fondue.
The ceramic pot is dishwasher and microwave safe.
With a 200ml storage capacity, this elegantly designed fondue pot does not require any power cords, cables, and lighters, but simply heats with the help of the tea light candle.

This is the Tiny Tim of the fondue world, great for intimate settings, small homes and also as a lovely little gift.
While it’s certainly not the same experience as a full-sized fondue burner, the Tapas does a good job, thanks to the heavy enamelware, of keeping the cheese molten and gooey from top to bottom, and we found ourselves dunking happily with only an occasional stir needed to maintain consistency when the very top started to develop a sheen.
Perfect for intimate settings

What reviewers didn't like

there's no fuel burner or lighter fluid.

Pot is prone to break if you drop it.
One thing to note: the Tapas needs to be soaked in cold water for 2 hours before use the first time.
Higher price point for this stylishly simple design
