I bought this atomic clock for my husband, who isn't tech savvy. We have a lot of electrical interruptions in our area and I was tired of having to reset his clock. I needed a clock that would tell him the day of the week, so he would know which medication to take. This clock has all of the information that he needs and it's easy to read. The minute I plugged it in, it showed the right time, date, etc. No setting was necessary. We've had several power outages since I bought it and it always resets itself immediately when the power comes back on. I'm glad I chose this clock.

It adapts very quickly to daylight thus saving time. It is also able to remember the time settings after power outages or unplugging. This clock was just fine, until I plugged my phone into the usb charger last night as I always do, and the clock just turned off. I have not been able to turn it on again. My phone and the cable are just fine. The clock just seems fried. Kind of disappointing after less than 4 months.
The alarm set button is right in the middle of the bright/dim buttons, so I keep accidentally hitting it while trying to adjust the display brightness.Also, while the alarm buzzing does in fact, gradually increase in volume over a couple minutes, it starts off so loud that it still startles me awake.The display is also sometimes difficult to read.
The alarm sound is not adjustable. The backup battery cannot power the clock.
