If you plan to host some summer barbecues this year or have an even bigger event coming up like a graduation celebration or backyard wedding, you’re going to need some entertainment. And if you’ve ever played giant yard games, you know it doesn’t get much better than that.

According to Hip2Save, you can find giant wooden games for just $29.99 right now at Aldi. The ones they were able to spot include a giant tumbling tower (think: Jenga) and “Giant Wooden 4 in a Row Game,” which is like a large version of Connect 4.

The tumbling tower game comes with 51 natural wood blocks and stands 34 inches tall. The four in a row game includes 42 black and red coins and has a 24-by-17-inch playing area.

Both games can be played indoors and outside, but if you’re looking for games that are strictly for the outdoors, Aldi also has a four-player disc golf game for $19.99. This game includes two disc golf targets, four flying discs and a storage bag. The height adjusts from 20 to 32.7 inches.

If you need something even bigger than the above games, you can find seriously huge games on Amazon. This Jenga-like game grows to more than 5 feet tall while playing. It is $79.99, including shipping for Amazon Prime members.

If your summer doesn’t leave a ton of room in the budget for games, or you simply like making things yourself, there are plenty of cheap and easy DIY yard games to play as well.

You can easily make your own giant Jenga simply by purchasing some two-by-fours. It will take a bit of work, as you’ll also need a hand saw, sandpaper, stain and finishing paste if you choose to use it, but what a fun accomplishment! You can find instructions by visiting the blog, Lemon Thistle.

You also can’t go wrong with a good old-fashioned game of bean bag toss. It’s pretty easy to whip together yourself. Just follow these instructions from Mod Podge Rocks, and you’ll be playing in no time!

If you want something more challenging but even easier to put together, try lawn twister! All you need are some circles cut from posterboard and some spray paint and you can create a giant twister board that’s sure to entertain. Check out these instructions from SheKnows.

Will you be hosting any parties or playing some outdoor games this summer?
