This Company Needs A Temporary Work-From-Home Rep For 6 Weeks


We’ve got news about a work-from-home job that doesn’t come with some of the usual requirements. You won’t take calls from upset customers, and you don’t need a super-quiet environment to do it in, either. There’s a company called Yardi Matrix, and they need to hire temporary part-time folks to complete their Winter 2017 Rent Survey. Yardi is a company that provides market and property data for potential property owners and management. As The Penny Hoarder notes, the rent survey “helps the company keep its information up-to-date for things that change frequently. You’d call apartment communities and ask questions to get details on things like rental rates and specials.”

Hours Required

This is a temporary position and lasts about six weeks. No previous call center experience is required, just a pleasant phone voice. You will need a fast internet connection and long-distance phone service. Hours are flexible, but you’d be required to complete 60 surveys minimum in the first week, and 80 per week after that, or 16 per day. You’d work 10 hours a week at minimum from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the surveyed time zones.


Penny Hoarder says “Base pay is $6 an hour, plus $0.60 per completed survey, $0.40 for wrong numbers, and $0.20 for an answering machine or no answer. You’re guaranteed minimum wage in your jurisdiction.”
