Veterans can get $40 off their Amazon Prime membership

Amazon

If you’re a military veteran and have thought about getting an Amazon Prime membership or are about to renew one, Amazon is currently offering a Veterans Day discount through Nov. 11.

Regularly $119, veterans and active military members can get a year of Amazon Prime for just $79, which means a savings of $40. The deal is good for former and active military members. To sign up, just visit Amazon’s website to verify your eligibility.

The service actually used to cost $79 for everyone, but prices were raised to $99 in 2014 and then to $119 in 2018.

If you don’t already have Amazon Prime, it comes with a variety of perks like  cloud photo storage, music streaming and free two-day delivery on many Amazon purchases, as well as the company’s streaming video service.
