This microwaveable plush sloth smells like lavender and helps soothe aches and pains

When you’re looking to wind down after a long day, there’s nothing more soothing than this sloth plush toy that is totally acceptable to cuddle with, even as an adult. This adorable plush would be calming enough all on its own — because who doesn’t instantly feel comforted by a cute sloth, after all — but it has the added benefit of smelling like lavender, and you can warm it in the microwave. So your evening snuggle session is about to get even better.

The Warmies microwavable French lavender scented plush sloth from Intelex is great for both kids and grown-ups as it can provide comfort at bedtime, be a travel companion to reduce travel anxiety and so much more. It’s available for $20 on Amazon — so you might consider purchasing one for every member of your family.

The product has mostly 5-star reviews (92%, in fact) on Amazon, with customers pointing out how durable and adorable the product is.

“It’s so cute, my kids love it and it’s durable,” one glowing, 5-star review reads.

Another pointed out that this is great for kids at nighttime. “My daughter loves the sloth and cuddles with it every night.”

And even grown-ups have used the sloth to ease pain.

“I love this sloth! He’s so cute and soft. I’ve used him a few times so far – for sinus headaches and menstrual cramps. Just heat in the microwave for one minute. The scent is very light and not overwhelming. A great purchase,” the reviewer wrote.

The stuffed animal is filled with dried lavender, which is what gives the plushie its scent. However, one reviewer pointed out that it is possible to scorch the fabric and the dried lavender contents in the microwave. In fact, a reviewer caught the sloth’s foot on fire in the microwave. So even though it says it’s microwave safe, be careful!

You could also avoid the microwave entirely, because this product can be used for cold therapy, too. So, if your little one falls and scrapes their knee, this can be used to soothe the area. Or if you’re experiencing some swelling or muscle pain from your workout, this could save the day. Just place the toy in a plastic bag in the freezer for a few hours to use it as a soothing cold pack.

If for some reason sloths aren’t your thing (is that even possible?!), or maybe you want to be able to tell your family’s warming stuffed animals apart from one another, Intelex has other stress-reducing, microwaveable animal toys to choose from, including a husky pup, snow leopard and this sweet little elephant for just $23 on Amazon:

With these animals by your side, the relaxation can begin!
