The products and services mentioned below were selected independent of sales and advertising. However, Don't Waste Your Money may receive a small commission from the purchase of any products or services through an affiliate link to the retailer's website.

If you’re an avid Target shopper, chances are you already know about their REDcard. There’s a ton of benefits—like saving 5 percent on your purchases and an extra 30 days to return items—but now, cardholders can get free two-day shipping, too!

REDcard holders already got free shipping, but getting your items in two days is brand new. And that applies to any size order, by the way—no matter how small.

In order to take advantage of this perk, you just have to place your order before the cut off period (usually 12 p.m. local time) to get it two days later. So, for example, if you place an order at 10 a.m. on a Tuesday, you’ll get it by Thursday! If you miss the cut off by a bit, you’ll still get it soon—just one day later.

The offer doesn’t include every item, however, so make sure you check before ordering something you need right away. If the item doesn’t qualify, you will still get free shipping with your REDcard, it just won’t be in two days.

Other benefits of the REDcard include early access to special events and promotions and a 10 percent off coupon on your REDcard anniversary every year. You’ll even save 5 percent when you use the card at any in-store Starbucks location!

You can apply for either a credit or debit REDcard by clicking here. With the debit card, you’ll get the same perks, but with no annual fee and no credit check required. And because the debit card is tied to your checking account, you can even withdraw cash when you check out at the store.

If you don’t have a REDcard, now definitely seems like the time to get one! If you’re still not sure, though, people who don’t have a REDcard can still get free two-day shipping on orders over $35 or standard shipping on items that don’t qualify for two-day.

This latest shipping offer follows other retailers like Amazon and Walmart, which also offer free two-day shipping. Amazon’s shipping perk comes along with its Prime membership, but Walmart shoppers can get their items in two days as long as they spend at least $35—no membership required.
