The products and services mentioned below were selected independent of sales and advertising. However, Don't Waste Your Money may receive a small commission from the purchase of any products or services through an affiliate link to the retailer's website.

Chances are, you’re already addicted to shopping at Target, but the promotion that the retailer has going on right now will give you all the more reason to buy even your groceries from your local Target store.

Through March 31, you can score a $10 Target gift card when you spend at least $50 on select grocery items. And not to brag—but spending $50 at Target is pretty easy for most of us. Who’s with me?

There are a few shopping options in order to qualify for the gift card. If you make your purchase online or using Target’s pick-up option, you’ll still be able to score this deal. So, the retailer really is making this too easy to pass up. If you’d like to take advantage of the deal by shopping in-store, you can use the Target App to find the coupon or text GROCERY to 827438.

When you opt-in with a text, you should receive a message like this:

According to Target’s website, if you choose to have your items shipped to your house after shopping online, the gift card will be shipped separately. If, after shopping online, you opt to pick up your groceries at the store, your gift card will be shipped once you’ve picked up your items. Either way, you’ll have to keep checking your mailbox for that sweet $10 Target gift card.

Only certain items qualify for the discount, but everything from fresh produce to sodas is included in the promotion, so you’ll be able to stock up on the things you need while saving money in the process. Unfortunately, purchases of candy, baby food, formula, pet food, as well as items bought at the Starbucks Cafe or Target Cafe, do not count toward your $50 purchase.

So you can’t just treat all your friends to Target Starbucks drinks in order to reap the free gift card. Bummer!

Thankfully, the money-saving opportunities don’t stop there. Target’s also helping you save just in time for Easter. Through March 31, when you spend $25 on Easter baskets, Easter eggs and other decorations, you’re eligible to receive a $5 gift card.

If you were looking for the perfect excuse to squeeze in another trip to Target—you just found it! You’re welcome.
