If your kids are LEGO fans, mark your calendar for Feb. 23, when Barnes & Noble will be hosting a free kids LEGO event!

The fun starts at 2 p.m. and is in celebration of the release of “LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part,” which hits theaters on Feb. 8. Activities include building a miniature replica of Emmet’s Dream House/Rescue Rocket from the film. Barnes & Noble will provide the instructions and the bricks and your child will get to take it home with them, plus a free poster.

You will have to register for the event, which you can do on Barnes & Noble’s website. Building kits and posters are available only while supplies last, so be aware that you may not get to participate.

If this free LEGO set leaves your child wanting more, you can buy a bigger version of Emmet’s Dream House/Rescue Rocket. It’ll cost you $70, but it comes with five characters and can be rebuilt from the house to the rocket.

You’ll also find other “LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part” building kits at Barnes & Noble, including Emmet’sThricycle and Emmet and Lucy’s escape buggy.

Will you be taking your children to Barnes & Noble on Saturday, Feb. 23 for this free LEGO event?
