Looking for something to do this weekend? In many parts of the country, the weather outside is not ideal for burning off some energy.

Luckily, Toys R Us has your back.

This Saturday, Feb. 10, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., your kids can attend a Lego Heroes Needed “build and play” event for free.

Head to your local Toys R Us for some free Lego fun!

At the event, there will be a hero mask giveaway—Toys R Us suggests having you kids dress up as their favorite superhero for the event!

Your kids will be able to build and play with Legos. Plus, you’ll get a one-day, in-store only coupon for 40 percent off select Lego construction sets.

This event is intended for children ages six and up, and parental supervision is required at all times.

You can reserve your spot at this fun event online now on the Toys R Us website.

Toys R Us Deals

If you’re looking for a bargain on Legos and other similar toys for an upcoming birthday or celebration, Toys R Us has several items and kits on sale right now, too.

One good way to save money on gifts for kids is to buy brands you know they like when they’re on sale, then stash them away until the next time you need a gift. The next time a holiday, birthday or special occasion rolls around—voila!—you are one step ahead with your gift, plus you’ve saved yourself some money.

This Lego Batgirl alarm clock is on sale for $14.79 (regularly $29.99).

This WowWee Magnaflex 22-piece magnetic strip set is on sale for $29.69 (regularly $34.99).

It’s still a bit pricey, but this Star Wars Kylo Ren’s command shuttle kit is on sale for $100,99 (regularly $124.99).

Do your kids need a new lunchbox? Check out this cool Lego DC Comics Batman “Gotham Is My City” lunchbox, on sale for $6.89 (regularly $14.99).

Toys R Us Store Closings

Despite continuing to offer free events for families, the toy retailer has seen better days. The company filed for bankruptcy last September, and at the same time announced a plan to close around 180 stores.
