Take Your Kids To This Free Dr. Seuss Event At Target

Target.

If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, look no further than Target, which is hosting a free Dr. Seuss reading event.

This seems like a fun and easy way to spend a Saturday, especially if you live in a part of the country that’s experiencing cold temperatures right now!

The event is being held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 3. To see if your local Target is participating, view the list of stores on the Target website.

So, what can you expect if you attend this event with your children? The event is a celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, so Target is planning a read-along with a “big book” version of “Green Eggs and Ham.”

According to the event description, there are also some freebies up for grabs, such as an activity book and a Dr. Seuss ABC poster with stickers.

They’re also encouraging participants to snap a photo at the event and post it on social media using the hashtag #HatsOffTarget.

Dr. Seuss Classic Books On Sale Now

In case you missed it, Target is also having a sale on Dr. Seuss books right now in honor of the late author’s birthday.

Each year, the National Education Association promotes Read Across America, a reading awareness initiative tied to Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Target is promoting reading, too, by dropping the price on many Dr. Seuss books!
