If you’re looking to book airline tickets and are traveling between the dates of August 22, 2017 and February 14, 2018, then you might want to check out the deals Southwest is offering right now.
Through Thursday, Aug. 3, you can save big during the airline’s fall and winter fare sale.
Ticket prices start at $42 one way, however most one-way flights we’re seeing are somewhere between the range of $50-$100. Still though, that’s not a bad deal.
Here are some examples of the low-priced one-way flights we’ve found that are included in this sale:
- Fly to New Orleans from Atlanta starting at $49
- Fly to New York from Chicago starting at $64
- Fly to Washington D.C. from Chicago starting at $79
- Fly to Atlanta from Chicago starting at $42
- Fly to Ft. Lauderdale from New York starting at $50
- Fly to Los Angeles from Las Vegas starting at $42
The nice thing about this fare sale is there are hundreds of options, with flights departing from over 86 cities!
Now, there are just a few small rules to keep in mind. Southwest does require that you purchase your tickets 21 days in advance.
There are also a handful of blackout dates, mostly around Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
Tickets purchased during this sale are also nonrefundable, according to Southwest.
But the good news is, you’re really able to narrow your search down to ensure you’re getting the best deal.
For example, I just picked that I wanted to depart from Cincinnati and fly to Baltimore sometime in October. Southwest has a handy calendar that shows the best price for every day in that month.
So if you’re ready to take a vacation or book a weekend getaway, now is a good time to look into it.
