This Xbox imrpoved its controls and has robust internal specs.

What experts didn't like
Not as graphically robust as the Xbox X. Some games don't display at a full 1080p. Doesn't have many good exclusive games.
- BestReviews
Big and bulky. Plus, it struggles to match the PS4 on raw performance.
- Trusted Reviews

Lack of killer launch titles and eye-watering price tag.
- T3
The Xbox One uses Xbox Live to access online services. In that case, you need to purchase the premium subscription plan (Xbox Live Gold for Xbox Live) to play games online. There's also the issue of the Switch, while benefitting from portability, not being nearly as powerful as the PS4 and having no 4K option.

Xbox Live Gold is essentially a requirement. No social integration.
- PC World

It’s not as fast as newer models. The lack of a 4K Blu-ray player in the original Xbox One makes the less expensive Xbox One S a much better value.
