The blade, on the other hand, is crafted from corrosion resistant stainless steel for durability.
The blade itself feels robust and does not bend easily. The tang spans from the tip tot the base of the handle. You can whack things with it without worrying about breaking!
At the time I hadn’t completed my cooking classes and my skills were wanting. It has lasted and cleaning it is easy, not to mention the luxury at which I use it with.
The weight is good, the overall length of the tool is good. And while the blade may not take a sustained beating and remain particularly sharp, the fact that it is a sturdy wedge of steel, (8 inches by 3.5 wide) means it will still carry on doing the job it is designed to do.
As far as for the handle, it is made of wood. While I used it, I didn’t have any problems with the handle itself. It is pleasant in hand, and it doesn’t slip away.
The blade has been made of carbon steel so it would retain the sharpness of the cutting edge for a long time
Comfortable handle: The handle is designed to conform to the shape of your hand. It gives you comfort when cleaving which makes the whole exercise enjoyable.
I love how strong and durable it is. I was even able to cut through thick skinned fruits like pineapples, watermelons, and even coconuts! I was also impressed at how sturdy the handle is and the great grip it gives me. Because of this, I don’t need to be scared that it’ll suddenly fly out of hands.
I find cutting through a whole chicken is just a piece of cake. You can try slicing vegetables and fruits with it too, especially big ones like watermelons to see how it makes your life easier.
It looks good too, especially its wooden handle that gives it an old-school vibe. The blade is 8 inches long and 3.5 inches thick, while the handle is 5 inches long.

The Winco Heavy Duty is a surprisingly resilient option, but even if yours breaks on you, it's remarkably cheap, so replacing it won't hurt.
This knife is designed to have a sharp and wide blade so that it slices and chops quickly and efficiently.

A meat cleaver is something everyone should have. It makes those tough kitchen prepping tasks really simple. It will slice, chop, mince, and dice all your meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, and fruits.

The first thing you’ll notice about this knife is it’s super comfortable in the hand, even if you have large sausage like fingers.

The cleaver has a mid-range weight, huge tasks may require a heavier unit

It is a poor quality cleaver which isn’t very durable
The carbon steel of the blade makes it wear resistant but not as rust resistant as a high chromium content steel

The blade is a bit thin so even if it is durable it would get some strains after continuous use.
