Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

This trail camera is a cinch to set up, plus it performs almost as well as options costing nearly twice as much.
The camera has a 12-month battery life. Camouflage design to blend in the wild. Passive infrared illumination to facilitate night vision. Bungee cords for easy mounting.
First-time trail camera buyers often get sticker shock, but the Terra IR keeps it budget-friendly with reasonable specs and features. The 14-megapixel camera reaches out to 65 feet and delivers 1080p video and night images via infrared. There's also an LCD screen that displays battery life and how many pictures you've taken.
14MP camera. Easy to use. Long battery life.
Durable. Easy to use. Good battery life. Decent trigger speed.

What reviewers didn't like

The least expensive option we considered. It’s also the least customizable of our picks, allowing you to set only the date and time and choose between still and video. The still photos and videos it produces can be a bit overexposed and pixelated, but they still look more true-to-life than those from some pricier models.
Video and image quality is low at night.
No color LCD screen. Not much in the way of customizable settings such as flash and PIR. 2 bungee cords for mounting the camera instead of a mounting strap.
Could have a better picture and video quality. No instructions on the manual.
