What reviewers liked

Makes excellent, vary high quality cuts that rival the result of much more expensive tool.
The design is pretty neat and user-friendly. The materials used in production are sturdy and reliable. In fact, the majority of included components are made of steel, aluminum, and other trustworthy metals. Therefore, one doesn’t have to worry about longevity or stability.
Its amazing cutting ability and high cut capacity of 6 inches, which makes it as strong and deep as a standard table saw but more maneuverable in terms of curved and variable cuts.
One of the most significant advantages of the 3962 stationary band saw is that it will not give you kick back as you use it. Whenever you are using a table saw in your applications, you need to be wary that the unit cuts your piece into clean halves or quarters.
This table band saw has got the comfortable table to work on. The work table is designed in a way to be leveled up to 45 degrees. It helps the users to get the angled cut just in a nip which might not be possible in another form of the saw.

The 3-in-1 nature of the dust port was a good choice as well, and as always, the LED light is a nice bonus, as I’m a fan of LED lights for cutting areas.
There is always something nice about getting a tool with its own stand. It makes a big impact to the layout of your workshop and means that you can work with it much more quickly and easily – without having to move all the bits of wood and piles of sawdust out the way first.
WEN 10-inches band saw has wonderful re sewing capacity. It can take on more wood than others 10 inches band saw as it combines with 1-3/4 inch throat for a machine.
Let’s start the highlight with…lights! One of our favorite details about the WEN 3962 Bandsaw reviews is that it comes with a very handy dandy LED headlight above the working table. And if you are someone who especially wears glasses, or tend to squint a lot, this addition is a blessing.
Another great thing about this band saw is that it is easy to assemble.
I like that it is heavy and robust giving it great accuracy in a professional setting. I personally love the spacious work table which is 14 x12-1/2 inches.
The work light illuminates your cutting line perfectly. This allows you to beaver away with precision in complete safety even if your workshop is a little on the dim side.
This light has a separate power switch, while the stainless-steel gears and ball bearings ensure durability and smooth performance.
Just awesome blade of this tool! All user want to cut smoothly by using the bandsaw if that hasn’t happened, then any user doesn’t want to use that tool.

What reviewers didn't like

Absolutely must be aligned correctly in order to produce a good cut, but it can be very sensitive and finicky to set with the plastic tension adjustment knob.
Many people complained about the lack of WEN’s quality control and we think there is definitely a good reason for that. The main component that seems to break frequently is the tension knob. It is indeed a piece made of plastic and it can struggle to withstand the intensity that comes with massive projects.
Its 9-inch and 10-inch variants are flimsy than the 14-inch version.
However, watch out for the adjustment issues that seem to plague all WEN line of band saws.
Sometimes The Blade Setup Is Really Frustrating
- Drilly
Upon first setting the saw up, you may notice how things are a bit...difficult. If you have trouble getting things even and flat at first, and the blade settled in properly, you're not alone.
The problem is that if you are relatively new to woodwork and DIY, then you are likely to find that this is a bit of a challenge to use and that means we can’t recommend it to absolute beginners.
Most of the review says the problem of blade tension. If not follow the proper instruction according to the blade size problem can arise.
But is it flawless? Far from it. Poor, construction and flimsy parts really make us question the quality assurance of this saw.
The WEN can be difficult to adjust. Making it less ideal for complete beginners.
This model is extremely sensitive and setting up the stock blade is a tricky and rather tiresome procedure.
The wheel alignment becomes complication when changing blades
Speed sometimes slow
