Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

The One-Touch enclosed ash catcher is a definite upgrade, and we’re happy to see this feature. It can hold quite a lot of ashes and is easy to remove and reattach with the spring loaded handle.
Classic, compact design. A cost-conscious option.
The Weber Original Kettle Premium Charcoal Grill can hold over a dozen burgers at once. The grill also has a built-in cleaning system and a hinged lid for convenience.
From burgers to chicken to slow-smoked ribs, this Weber model’s time-tested design produces great results—at a terrific price.
Budget-friendly without lacking quality. Versatile, simple, portable design.
The hinged grate lets you add (or remove, for that matter) charcoal from the kettle without having to completely remove the cooking grate.

What reviewers didn't like

The lid thermometer sits high above the meat that’s sizzling away on the hot grate, and being that far away from the coals means you aren’t getting an accurate read on the grill temperature.
Small to medium cooking space. Wheels are small.
Thermometer not as accurate as separate grilling thermometers.
The porcelain coating on the shell seems a bit thin to me. I dropped the lid (only about a two feet or so) and the shell’s black coating chipped off.
