Overall Take

Elegant is the best word to describe this standing desk. It's made from a durable bamboo and coated with a sleek black finish. The desk itself has a spacious 36-inch surface and a 6.5 to 17-inch height range and requires little assembly, so you'll be able to begin using it almost immediately after it arrives.

In our analysis of 34 expert reviews, the VIVO Spacious Keyboard Tray Standing Desk placed 16th when we looked at the top 16 products in the category. For the full ranking, see below.

From The Manufacturer

Steel frame combined with innovative gas spring power holds weights up to 37.5 pounds. The frame comes in a black finish to blend in with any environment and maintain a low profile. Gas spring lift offers smooth and easy height adjustment at the squeeze of a handle going from sitting to standing in an instant. There are 8 points of height adjustment allowing you to adjust to your desired comfort level. Counterbalance tension adjusts to the weight of your desk and everything on it for easy upwards movement.

Expert Reviews

What experts liked

The work surface is wide and accommodating, allowing you to use two monitors as long as you can stay under the 33 lb weight limit. It even includes modest cable management supplies to help keep your work space neat.

What experts didn't like

The counterbalance on this converter is weak, and combined with a heavy frame, it quickly becomes difficult to lift as you load it up with monitors and accessories. This is somewhat expected with a super-cheap converter, but it just makes it tough to use on a day-to-day basis.
