From The Manufacturer

Timber Ridge XL Padded Zero Gravity Chair has very sturdy construction. Removable headrest pillow, wooden armrest and a large cup holder that can be attached onto the right side of it. Once you have it adjusted in the position you want, there are 2 small clamps on the sides that you just turn so the position locks into place. It just slides on and locks into place and can be removed if you don’t want it attached. The way it’s designed and your body lays on it does not make your body ache.

Expert Reviews

What experts liked

Bungee suspension construction provides flexible support for up to 300 pounds. Has a padded backrest and adjustable armrests. Occupants find it easy to transition between reclining heights.
The biggest factor when it comes to comfort is the chair’s ability to recline. Using a locking lever, you can adjust the chair from an upright position all the way to a fully reclined horizontal position. This meant that everyone in our family could find their perfect setting. The chair was noticeably more supportive than other outdoor recliners. We spilled water on the polyester fabric while first testing the reclining options and after a quick wipe with a washcloth, it was hard to tell there was even a spill. The headrest also detaches so you can more thoroughly clean it if needed.
You have also solid armrests that are anatomically designed. Adjustable padded headrest. You can slide the pillow visible in the picture above to any position. In fact, it can go completely to the lumbar area so it can be described also as a chair with lumbar support. The chair is padded and this holds also for the mentioned footrest. There is more that adds to the overall comfort. You have a folding side table with an integrated cup holder. The table folds underneath the chair for transportation
Built specifically with comfort in mind. With an adjustable pillow, elastic cords for extra support, a fully-cushion seating space, and an oversized dimension, this chair is great for those who see comfort as the most important element of a chair. Boasts an extra-large size, with padding on the entirety of its seating space. With a fully-reclined length of 72 inches and no assembly required, this chair will be your solution for cramped relaxation spaces.
If you want to commit to a chair that gives you neutral posture for everyday use, this is definitely the model we’d pick. The seat reclines farther than any of the others; if you take the pillow off, your head is just below the level of your knees. The padding dries in a few hours on a sunny day and the wood seems treated to repel water. The included cupholder works well and can actually stay attached when the chair is folded.
If you are looking for a strong and sturdy extra wide zero gravity chair. The Timber Ridge chair is a very wise choice in our opinion. Especially when compared to other XL variations that have lesser weight capacities. The stylish seat design and wooden armrests. If you are fed up with seeing the same black and tan zero gravity recliners then the earth and blue designs of this recliner should really catch your eye. The wooden armrests really add a little extra personality and even the included cup holder differs from the majority of the other products around.

What experts didn't like

Occasional reports that the chair isn't as durable as other options.
A bit heavy to carry around. We took it to the beach and had to walk some distance from the parking lot to the sand. Carrying the chair while walking in sand proved to be difficult and while we were happy to be able to recline, we questioned bringing it when a folding chair—which we could sling over our shoulder—would have been fine. Due to its heft, we’d say the chair is best suited for camping or fishing trips that require minimal travel on foot. As a permanent patio chair, the Timber Ridge Zero Gravity Lounger is a bit informal for our taste.
This chair is very heavy with its 24.8 lb (11.2 kg). It is also very large when packed. A bit expensive.
If you plan to use this chair outdoors, be aware of possible weathering outcomes that can occur if you don’t bring it inside, as there are metal parts of the chair that can rust when exposed to moisture.
Doesn’t come at the bargain price of some other models. The colors and pattern of the Timber Ridge are a bit bolder than the other models, too, which means it might be harder to match with your decor. This chair just won’t handle long-term exposure to sun and rain as well as the plastic armrests and mesh seats on the other designs.
When compared to other extra large zero gravity outdoor chairs it is true that the Timber Ridge oversized zero gravity chair is a little more pricey. Weighing around 21 lbs in weight, it isn’t a hugely portable option for some.
