In fact, it offers more cushioning than any other memory-foam topper we tried, and unlike some other memory-foam models we tested, it never made us feel like we’d fallen into a crater.
This topper is dense, durable, and feels like a mini-mattress. It’s about 30 lbs., three inches thick, and the folks at Tempur-pedic say it makes a great substitute for a mattress when you’re camping, or you have an overnight guest (and I have no trouble believing that!).
The foam conforms well to the body without sinking too deeply and it has a nice medium-firm support overall (at least for my weight- it might be softer for a heavier body).
Its 3'' thick profile is ideal for those that want extra contour on their mattress or desire extra cushion while sleeping on the floor or hard surface.

TEMPUR material is more durable compared to ordinary memory foam.
This three-inch memory foam topper is the best of both worlds: thick enough to support your back without causing you to completely sink to the bottom.
Another benefit is motion isolation. The TEMPUR-Topper Supreme absorbs motion transfer very well, which can cut down on sleep disruptions for couples.

What reviewers didn't like
The Tempur-Pedic mattress topper weighs about 36 pounds, making it difficult to maneuver.
While the cover is washable, the topper itself is not. In fact, you really shouldn’t get it wet at all.
I do have one small complaint: it can sleep a little warm.
No straps or buttons to keep it in place
The mattress topper may feel a little firm at first and needs to be broken in for a few nights for maximum comfort.
Expensive compared to other memory foam options
The TEMPUR-Topper Supreme has an above-average price-point compared to other memory foam toppers.
