Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

The powerful combo of vertical and shot of steam technologies removes wrinkles fast and easily. Dual spray mist diffuses more water compared to standard irons to remove all kinds of wrinkles.
15 steam macro holes on its soleplate that continuously release and balance steam production during ironing. This makes the sunbeam master an effective iron. It has an 8-foot retractable cord. This helps in easy cord management during ironing and in storage preventing entangling. Shot of steam function that helps in removing difficult creases and in vertical steaming. It has a very effective anti-drip system that prevents delicate fabrics from being spoilt by spillages. Variable steam control with four settings that allow efficiency and excellent results. It has a large water tank that does not deplete easily. Light in weight compared to many other models.
For a low price, the Sunbeam Steam Master Iron with Retractable Cord not only removes wrinkles, but it also offers an anti-drip design, an automatic shut-off system, and much more.

What reviewers didn't like

It needs a reasonable time to heat up.
The 15 macro holes on its soleplate are not as effective in a steam generation as the microhole technology incorporated by Rowenta models. The burst of steam is relatively weaker than what is found in other models. Some buyers have complained of overheating in this model which produces a burning smell.
Cord retracts with a lot of force. Steam burst is not very powerful. Doesn’t work as well on thicker fabrics.
