Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Infrared flash (no visible light). Maximum trigger distance is 100 feet (as quoted by the company).
It’s one of the best low light game cameras you can get, which means it is also great for security use in hard to see places.
One of its features is the reflex technology which makes capturing photos even faster.
Stealth Cam provides one of the fastest trigger speeds of all the trail cameras available on the market. It uses Reflex technology that makes the speed lightning fast.
The camera is also capable of delivering HD video recording. Of course, as with all surveillance cameras in the range, the recording time is limited to 180 seconds per file.

What reviewers didn't like

Recovery time of one minute or more.
Does not support micro cards/ very picky about SD cards
However, having the benefit of fast trigger time, the Stealth Cam G42NG has the downside of a below average recovery time, which stands at 6.5 seconds.
The camera can either delete old recordings or save new photos, or it can stop taking new pictures.
